March 31st

  • SURVEY
    • Please fill out the survey ASAP
    • This survey needs to be filled out by everyone, even if you aren’t returning or are unsure about returning next year.
  • ENROLLMENT
    • Enrollment for new families will start in April. Be sure you let Jackie know (By filling out the survey) if you plan to return next year. Your guaranteed spot could go to someone else if I don’t know you want it.
  • DUES FOR 25/26
    • If you plan to return next year please pay your dues or let Jackie know you’ll be making payments ($100 on April 1, May 1, June 1, and July 1) ASAP.
  • EASTER BREAK
    • Easter Break is April 18th. We will not meet that day.
  • END-OF-THE-YEAR PROGRAM
    • Friday, May 2nd
    • Set up 6:00
    • Open House begins at 6:30
    • If you want a table or space to display work for your classes please let Jackie know.

  • GRADUATION
    • It’s time to register for graduation.
    • If you have any friends looking for a high school graduation ceremony this year, send them to our website.
  • 2025 / 2026 ENROLLMENT
    • Enrollment for 25/26 is open and will open for new families in April.
    • If you have not filled out the SURVEY and paid in full or paid $100 and signed up for payments, your spot could be filled by a new family.

February 22nd

  • VALENTINE’S PARTIES
    • We will have our Valentines Parties this Tuesday.
    • Each period will be 5 minutes shorter to allow time for a 20 minute Valentines Party at the end of the day
    • Preschool and Elementary students can bring a valentine box and valentines to share with their classmates
    • Student Class Lists can be found on the website
    • Preschool and Elementary parties will be help in their 4th period classrooms
    • Co-op will provide cookies and crafts for all ages
    • The Youth party will be held in room 109

February 14th

  • SERVICE PROJECT
    • A personal note about our Service Project. Our September Service Project was to write letters to elders. At that time I nominated my mom to be one of the elders to receive letters. She was chosen for January. She received SO many letters! These pictures show just some of the letters she received.

      Some came with stickers, some people added jokes, poems, and handmade cards for her to use to write back, all included kindness and I can tell you that each and everyone brought joy. I read many of the letters before passing them on to her (something I agreed to do when I nominated her) and they honestly restored my faith in people. They made me smile and helped make my January on the struggle bus a little easier. So thank you to all of you who sent letters, I know they made someone smile.
    • Another thing I wanted to say about our service projects is that they are a really important thing to us and I hope that you and your family are taking the time to service. I know that they can be used as “extra days off”, but I hope you set aside at least a little bit of time on those days to find ways to serve.
    • With all of that in mind, I’ve decided to include a link for service project ideas. I hope that you’ll sit down and look through this website and come up with things to do with your family. I suggest you bookmark the website and go back to it again and again for ideas. I like the “Kindness” ideas the most, but I look forward to hearing what other people like.
    • I would love to hear what your family decides to do. I’ll start a Facebook post where people can share what they do. Remember that even hearing about the kindness of others brings a little joy. And couldn’t we all use a little more of that?!!

December 6th

  • CHRISTMAS PARTY
    • Our Christmas Party is this Tuesday, Dec. 10th.
    • We need all of our teachers.
    • We’ll start with a potluck lunch. Please bring the following items:
    • Our schedule will be altered. You can find the Party Schedule on the documents page.
    • You will not need to prepare for your party assignment. Supplies will be in your rooms.
    • PLEASE STAY IN CHARGE OF YOUR KIDS DURING AND AFTER LUNCH
    • Every year we find that the lunch gives way to a mad house with kids run-a-muck through the building and outside. While we want to continue the tradition of our lunch time before the party, we do need to get a handle on the craziness. Please help by keeping an eye on your kids before they head off to their classes.
    • We will have a special musical performance by our Youth Music class immediately following lunch. Please keep your kids close so we can all enjoy their performance.

    • Please please please remember that all teachers are REQUIRED to submit 2 sub packets. If you haven’t given those to Jackie be sure you do that this Tuesday!

    • If you’re doing the Hands of Hope at Convoy, there is a release form that you’ll fill out on arrival.

September 15th

  • TAKE ATTENDANCE
    • Be sure you’re taking attendance at the start of every class. When students go outside, please take a quick attendance as you’re returning inside and AGAIN once the students are back in the classroom. (Recess Mentors should take attendance as students are returning inside, and the next teacher should take attendance when kids enter their classroom)

September 6th

  • YOUTH CLASS CHANGES
    • Today (Friday 9/6) is the final day to request a youth class change. Message Jackie with any changes your youth student would like.
  • SERVICE PROJECT
    • Tuesday, September 24 We have 2 options for our service project this month.
      • Ages 10 and up (with a parent): Volunteer with Convoy of Hope Hands of Hope night September 24, 2024 6:30-8:30 p.m. Hands of Hope projects vary based on organizational needs and available products and supplies. Most projects involve counting, sorting, and boxing or bagging products.
      • All ages: Send a letter to one (or all) of the elders on the Love Our Elders list. https://loveforourelders.org/letters Please remember to take pictures of your kids with their letters and upload them to the facebook group so we have pictures for the yearbook.
  • FAMILY PICTURES
    • If you haven’t had your family picture taken, please round up your kids and come downstairs after co-op to have that done.
  • BABY SHOWER
    • We will have a table set up in the teacher’s lounge to leave gifts and cards for Misty. Be sure to grab a cupcake and give Misty and baby Cole extra love this week.

August 30th

  • WEEK ONE
    • Co-op kicks off this coming Tuesday!
  • START TIME
    • Please remember to be in your seats and ready for announcements by 12:30.
  • FACEBOOK MESSENGER GROUPS
    • You should now be added to all of the Facebook messenger groups that pertain to you and your family. If you’re a teacher, be sure to list anything that parents need to know from you. Everyone, check the groups your kids are in. Let Jackie know if you see a problem with any message lists. There are a lot of names to organize into each class group, and I do make mistakes.
